Thanks for sticking around for the home tour series! If you’ve missed the previous one here’s the kitchen tour and the living room & dining room tour.
I recently shared my favorite at-home fitness products that I have in what I refer to as my Studio Tone It Up.
I thought it was only fitting I shared a workout room tour next so you can take a peek into my morning workout space.
Pretty much my entire working out life (I was not into fitness for many years) I’ve worked out at home.
Whether that was my brother’s room, my college dorm suite, or our apartment living room, I’ve always been used to working out in a small space.
However, when we were looking for a home to buy I told Kris I really wanted to have my own workout room.
While working out in the living room is fine, I’d much rather have my own space to work out and meditate in.
Luckily, he was super understanding so we looked for a place with enough rooms to include a workout space!
I will add that my workout room has a small corner that functions as my office space, though I don’t use it too often since I like to work from different areas of our home.
Workout Room Tour
On my previous blog post I discussed the small workout equipment I use at home and sometimes travel with.
However because it’s small, I wanted to have a space to keep it all together.
I got my workout equipment shelf a while ago to keep in my closet for a few extra things but after moving into our new home I decided to repurpose it to hold all my workout equipment.
I have a box where I store my booty bands, resistance bands, Bala ankle weights, face towels, jump rope, etc.
The other shelf spaces have my dumbbells, kettlebell, foam roller, and Tone It Up decor since I call this room Studio Tone It Up.
We got a TV for the room to easily stream my Tone It Up app workouts and it’s honestly been life-changing not having to stare at my smaller screen from afar.
Right before I did the TIU Strength program on the app, we got a weight bench and a barbell that I’ve continued to use even after finishing the program.
It also has the added bonus that it encourages Kris to work out since he would often say my dumbbells were too light for him (probably just excuses, am I right?).
I keep the extra weight plates for the barbell on a basket next to my shelf. It’s not perfectly organized but honestly everything gets moved constantly in that room so it’s probably the only space were looking cute was not my main priority.
Finally, I hung a mirror on the back side of the door that I use to keep an eye on my form and make sure I don’t get injured while working out!

Office Space
The workout room also doubles as my office space.
While I hope to update the desk and chair in the future, it’s not my main priority at the moment as I don’t use it that often.
I normally don’t work from home (quarantine has changed that though) so the office was not a concern.
However, I do hope to change the furniture some time soon for lighter colors and I’ve linked them below.

I like to switch my work space (keeps the creative juices flowing) so even though I’m working from home I usually only work from my office space once a week.
I love working from our dining table, kitchen island and balcony so I keep it varied!
One major thing above my desk is my vision board, intentions, and a motivating girl boss portrait.
I love having it all there so I can see it daily and remind myself of what I’m working towards.
I hope you enjoyed this workout room tour and stay tuned for a few more home tour spaces!
