If you know me, you know I’m always in a state of rush and getting multiple things done at once.
My mind is constantly thinking about multiple things, and I always need to be busy.
Because of that, I’ve had to develop tricks over the years to help me save time.
Everything from getting ready for work, to prepping for my morning workouts, and making some time for intention setting, I’ve learned some great time saving hacks.
If you want to get a ton go things done as efficiently as possible, I’ve got some tricks for you!
Prepping for Morning Workouts
Although I am 100% a morning person, that doesn’t mean I’m not slightly slower in the mornings.
Since I love working out in the mornings, I have to wake up early to get it done before work.
However, since it takes me a bit longer to get around doing things in the morning, I set up my workout clothes and yoga mat the night before.
That way when I wake up all I gotta do is change into my clothes and move on. No time for excuses!
Easy Breakfast
Right after I’m done with my workout, I gotta get ready for work.
However, I like to take my time eating breakfast so I don’t feel in a total rush. I really don’t want to set that tone for the day.
If the breakfast I’ve planned for the week can’t be prepped ahead of time, I like to prep as much as I can the night before.
If it’s smoothies, I put all frozen ingredients in a bag so I take it all out in the morning without needing to measure everything.
I’ll also leave the dry ingredients prepped in the blender so I can just throw everything together, add the liquid and voila! There’s my breakfast.
Nothing better than being able to enjoy my first meal of the day in peace.
Time for Intention Setting
I’m a firm believer that starting your morning by setting your intention is a great way to begin your day.
I like to use my Affirmators in the morning and take some time to set an intention for the day.
It can be anything from taking it slow, to breathing more intentionally, to focusing on the present only.
It really helps with my anxiety and overthinking so I make sure to make lots of time for it.
I leave everything set up the night before on the coffee table so that way I remember to do it. It also reduces the risk of wasting time scrolling mindlessly on social media.
Meal Prepping
Finally, and the biggest one for sure, is meal prepping!
I spend every Saturday prepping my meals for the week so I can save tons of time during the week.
I don’t have to worry about cooking lunch or dinner since I leave everything packed and ready for the week.
It’s also my #1 tip for success when starting a new meal plan because it significantly reduces your chances of mindless eating. Aka a win-win.
Those are my favorite time saving hacks I’ve developed over the past years.
I hope you can apply any of them to your day-to-day to increase productivity and leave some extra time for self-care!
