Have you ever heard of The Secret?
It basically talks about the law of attraction and that what you wish for and think about has the power to come true.
There’s obviously more behind it but in a gist, it’s all about the power of manifesting.
I’m not gonna lie, for the longest time I laughed at people who said anything about the power of manifesting.
I thought it was impossible that whatever you think would come true.
However, over time I began to understand what the power of manifesting means.
It’s not that you wish for something and it’ll magically appear – wouldn’t that be amazing though?
It’s more about putting out your intention to the universe and following what’s presented to you so you can get there.
What you say matters
The way we think and the things we say have the power to affect our perception and our reality.
Think about it, if you tell yourself you’re not worthy of something, you start believing it.
Similarly, if you tell yourself you love everything about you, you start to believe it.
So the more we put our intentions and wishes out there, the more likely they are to come true.
Start your morning every day by saying something positive and setting new intentions for yourself.
Slowly but surely you’ll see the shift in your mentality and your environment.
Suddenly, almost everything you think is becoming a reality.
Again, this is not to say ‘I’m going to be a millionaire tomorrow’ and it’ll come true.
The universe doesn’t just give you things that easy. However, it’ll start paving the way for you to work towards a higher income.
Whether it’s opening the door to a new job or a second (or third) source of income, or selling items that no longer spark joy (hello Marie Kondo!), or a promotion at work, the universe has its ways.
What matters the most is that you trust the process and follow the doors that are opened to you.
Have trust and faith
Speaking of trusting the process, it’s definitely a huge part of manifesting.
If you don’t genuinely believe the doors will be opened for you, you’ll miss all the signs.
In fact, you might even close the doors before there’s a chance of them opening.
Metaphors aside, when we don’t believe in the power of our words and intentions, our mindset enters a very negative state.
We start thinking that nothing good will ever come our way and begin self-sabotaging.
We also start blaming the universe or whatever you believe in for every bad thing that happens.
I’m personally a believer that whatever happens is not someone else’s fault.
You are in charge of your own choices and the sooner you realize you’re in charge of your reality, the quicker you’ll shift towards a more positive view.
So try changing up the way you speak about yourself and your surroundings.
Appreciate every little thing that makes you who you are and surrounds you.
You’ll start seeing how new possibilities open up.
What exactly is manifesting
Okay so after all this talk you’re probably asking yourself how exactly one should manifest.
Well unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Though at the same time it is.
Manifesting can come in many forms.
Saying affirmations out loud, writing down intentions, thinking them, etc.
What matters most is that you have a clear goal in mind for what you’re manifesting.
Whether that is ‘I will have a new job within 30 days in the accounting field’ or ‘I will buy my first car in the next 3 months.’
Setting a clear goal is the key so you know where you want to go.
Your job is not knowing how you will get there. It’s knowing where you want to go and having faith you will get there.
Do whatever comes easier for you.
If you prefer writing your goals and intentions go for it!
A lot of people also like placing the paper under a crystal to increase its manifesting power.
Do whatever serves you and will increase your faith in the power of manifesting.
Believe me when I say I’ve been skeptical. But I also decided to give it a shot, and trust me it is so worth it.
The power of manifesting is real and soon you’ll start seeing new doors opening to pave the way for better things.
And just to make a final note on these metaphorical doors, they’re not all exactly what you want but they’re what you need.
Growing can cause discomfort and bring challenges you may not want to go through.
Trust the process and know that you’ll come out stronger and get exactly what you’ve wished for and needed.
All at the right time, though.
Be patient, be kind, and grow through what you go through.
You got this!
