What’s In My Bag? My Purse Essentials

Any time someone picks up my purse, their first comment is how heavy it is.

To be honest, I carry so much in my purse, I feel so empty without it.

I know a lot of women feel like their lives live in their purse, and I feel similarly.

There’s a lot of purse essentials I carry with me to get me through any unexpected events, and honestly they’ve saved me.

I wanted to share my purse essentials in case you’re looking for ideas to keep your life together (jk… so dramatic, but kinda true). So here we go!

Secret deodorant

I found this tiny version of my regular deodorant and knew I had to get it right away.

I’m not going to lie, there’s been times where I leave the house and completely forgot to put on deodorant.

And then there’s times when the weather is too hot and I need that extra layer after a few hours.

Having a deodorant in my purse has honestly been one of my best investments!

Along with deodorant, I want to make sure I smell good!

For that reason, I carry a rollerball version of my favorite perfume: Victoria’s Secret Paris.

It’s the perfect size and I love to use it throughout the day to make sure I smell good. Or at least think I smell good.

There’s something about planners that make you feel you have your life together, am I right?

I love keeping my planner in my purse so I can write down any events coming up and more importantly, use it to check items off my list.

I keep a pen with it and it’s come in handy for more than just the planner.

Any time we go out to eat, Kris always ends up asking me for a pen. It’s definitely a useful item to keep.

I know this one might be strange, but it’s so useful!

My nails have a tendency to break in the winter so I learned to keep a nail file (or two) with me.

That way I can file my nail right away and avoid getting my clothes caught in it, or scratch myself.

When I’m at work or eat out, I’m not able to brush my teeth after a meal. Instead, I chew gum.

My favorite is Pür gum because it’s free of aspartame and loaded with high quality ingredients.

It’s always useful to keep some handy. I even have a bag just for my car!

I love keeping a compact mirror in my purse in case I need to take a look at my teeth, eyes, skin, etc.

I have long eyelashes and almost everyday there’s one bothering my eyes so the mirror comes in handy to make sure my eyes are clear.

I also like to use it to make sure my skin is clear and teeth are clean. Plus, you have no idea how many friends ask to use my mirror all the time.

I’m a firm believer that healthy, soft lips are the way to go.

For that reason I always keep lip balm in my purse.

It’s especially useful when the weather is dry and my lips need the extra hydration to prevent chapping.

I never carried concealer in my purse until one afternoon, while I was far from home, an annoying blemish decided to pop up on my face.

Since then, I keep concealer in my purse to make sure I’m ready for any skin concerns.
